Finding a treadmill under 200 dollars that isn’t junk can be a difficult task! Treadmills are a big piece of machinery and getting one for less than 200$ requires some serious research and analysis. 200 dollars isn’t chump change either and I know that you want to make sure you spend your hard earned money on a treadmill that will last.
Lucky for you, there are a couple good deals on reliable treadmills that you can get as cheap as 200$ and I have compiled a list after my own experience testing each one and consulting my colleagues who have also had experience with these models.
Looking for a cheap treadmill under 200 requires you to understand what you will get in that price range. Most of the models will be manual powered treadmills which means your running is what moves the belt. This takes a little getting used to if you are used to standard automatic treadmills, but it is surely still an excellent workout and it won’t break your bank!
You can also get an automatic treadmill in this price range but you need to be very careful about the quality of the automatic treadmill that sells for under 200$ because it can be a shoddy design and not worth your hard earned money. That is why as a personal trainer I always recommend buying from Amazon, the deals are huge compared to retail stores, as much as 50% less and the best part is they deliver it for free and bring it into your house! Trying to lug a treadmill into your house by yourself is a nightmare, trust me I know from experience and it is not something I will ever repeat again!
Without further ado, here are the best treadmills under 200 dollars!

This treadmill in my opinion is an excellent choice in the under 200$ range. It is supremely affordable, it is extremely quiet and the belt moves smooth and very quiet for a treadmill in this price range. Storage is a breeze with it and the locking system is high quality so storage is a breeze. It also has some pretty cool features like a water bottle holder a simple electronic display that tells you track speed, distance, time, and calories burned.

Coming in at number 2 on our count down of the best treadmills around 100 is the Pheonix 98516 Easy-Up Manual Treadmill. This treadmill is cheaper than Stamina In Motion II and worth every penny! This treadmill ranks as the number 2 treadmill around 100 dollars because I had much more data and more people to collect information from, leading me to place it solidly at number 2. Nobody had anything negative to say about its functionality as a basic, manual treadmill. Coming in at number 4, but definitely every bit as good as the previously afmentioned treadmills is the fantastic Manual Folding Treadmill by Roger Enterprises. This model completely impressed me with its sturdiness. It is solid as a rock and by far one of the best treadmills under 200. It is listed as a “walking” treadmill but you can certainly run on it. It is a dream to walk on and the functionality of the smooth belt system is superb. It also has a nice electronic display to track your progress which is a lovely perk!
